Bonneville Wikipedia Site
The Bonneville section of Wikipedia needs to be cleaned up. Have any members here ever contributed to it? So, yeah, it would be cool if some of the vets edited it or something. Also, why is Eric95se'* Bonnie in it? :?

The Bonneville was replaced by the high-end Pontiac Grand Prix GXP trim, because the Grand Prix grew in size since its 2004 redesign. With more than half of Pontiac dealers also selling Buick models, the new Buick Lucerne will remain as GM'* only non-luxury full-size car. The smaller Pontiac G6, intended as a replacement for the Grand Am, will absorb the rest of the Bonneville'* customer base.
The G6 is a nice little car, but it bears no resemblance at all to the Bonneville, neither in comfort nor size. I have to believe that it attracts a completely different demographic.
I'm saying this as my daughter owns a G6. It is a nice car and I recommended it for her. The 3.5L at 215HP is a nice engine for that car....but it is not a Bonneville level car.

It also say that the successor is the Grand Prix GXP. Now, although this is a nice car, I've actually driven a GXP, and it gets quite claustraphobic in there after a bit of time. It'* no full size at all

A GXP, maybe. A Lucerne.....maybe. A G6...I don't think so.
Do you really think that a customer who is looking for a full size 4-door sporty sedan with all the creature comforts, head and leg room for 5 adults, large trunk for over-the-road travel, and full-size look, will downgrade their expectations and buy a G6 instead? Unless they are a dyed-in-the-wool Pontiac buyer, I don't think so. There are just too many other options out there right now.
Don't get me wrong, I do like the G6. It'* just not the same type of vehicle.
