Default Bonneville radio

This is a copy of a post I submitted in the Audio section of the forum:
just picked up a 99 Bonneville I bought off of ebay and the radio has no display. Does anyone have an oem cd/am/fm that looks like the one below. It has to have steering wheel capablity (or do they all?, I mean are there several different models that look like the one below?) And do all Pontiac (95-99) have the red display like a Bonneville?.
To see what my radio looks like, go to this one on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ory=38655&rd=1
Thanks for your help.
P.*. I also need a power antenna.

They're compatible. Might be a lcd blow from the display. I remeber with my 97 that when I 1st cut the radio on it would display just fine, after an 1hr or so the radio would read in greek or something. I figured that it was going out anyway. Maybe yours completly went out. I don't think the that your car really matters.

Power antenna available in the 'For Sale or Trade' forum. Good price.

Radio needs a new 12V display bulb. Take the front of the radio off and you will see it.

Default update

Ok, I went to the salvage yard at lunch, pulled a am/fm cassette out of a 95 bonne, got the bulb out of the radio, and two equalizer knobbies,(mine was missing two), and a power attenna from a 98 Lesabre ($20.00). I will put the bulb in tonight and will let you know. I take it the bulb simply backlights the display? Who'd of thunk it.
You guys are great, thanks for the help. (even if it doesn't work).

Default IT WORKS!!

Hey guys, thanks for the help, got the bulb like fuddyduddy121 said, and now I have time and stations on the radio! And I thought I was going to have to buy a different radio.
Put the power antenna in and it works great too.
Thanks again.
