The Columbus PD has several F-450s for hauling around their boats and equipment, and they're all cleared as regular cruisers. With the governor off, that Powerstroke is easily capable of keeping up with most cars. They had a high-speed chase a few months back, suspect driving a stolen tow-truck. They used one of the Powerstroke Fords to run him down and PIT him.

I drive my Dad'* Powerstroke F-350 Crew Cab quite often, and unless I'm way off, the 1/4 mile time is in the high 15 - low 16 range. That'* about the same as an SE, I believe?

PowerStrokes, DuraMax, and the Cummins Can be tuned to make MASSIVE amounts of power, they have a huge aftermarket, and it is easy to program power, through the OBDII port

Gotta watch the DuraMaxes though. If you've got the Allison automatic, you don't want to throwtoo much more power through it. Ever since GM bumped up the power in response to the torque war between themselves and Dodge, they've been having troubles with burning out that trans. If you plan on modding a DuraMax, make sure to buy the 6-speed manual.

I noticed that too. Their years were way off on most of the cars.
