And what’* wrong with running stock silver painted wheels in winter? Never had a problem, I don’t think I would be the only one doing so, I’m sure Venom is running his stock GXPs for winter, so is Stealth, so is almost everyone with a Bonnie GXP. I don’t find it that big of a deal; I don’t see why you would. I also ran the chrome 22'* on the Escalade last winter and they look brand new still today
I don’t see the GXP wheels being super special like you guys do, they are just stock rims. To you SE, SLE, SSEi people it might be a huge upgrade to your ride, but to me it’* still a "stock" look
Only reason I want GXP rims so bad is because I don’t want to throw steelies on and make my car look like crap in winter

I like the point u made about the gxp rims...as i wanted some for the winter. In the summer I always go chrome and I don't want steelies either especially since my bday is in december and i'm going to be driving my car alot then.
Question: I have the same generic SE rims as ybrian and what would happen if I spray painted the rims silver...the aluminum is starting to peel and rust.

They would like mine, just silver instead of black. Mine has held up pretty good so far and that was on a tight and quick schedule. I could have done so much better with more time (i.e. being able to dismount the tires, take it down to bare surface, prime, and allow full time for clear to cure)
