Body help.......some *&$^$% backed into me.
Here'* the scenario (hit and run):
Someone backed into me last night (at work in the parking lot). Probably an SUV or a truck with a receiver hitch, stinger and ball attached. I rarely have my stinger and ball in, but did this time. Their hitch overlapped mine (mine doesn't stick out very far, see pics on the taillight blackout page of my website), looks like the ball hit my rear bumper cover right above the license plate cutout, just left of center, and cracked it. Broke the left license light assembly, don't know where it is now. The end of the stinger gouged my plate, and broke my frame and cover.
I fixed the plate and replaced the cover/frame today, and ordered 2 new license lights (the other one has a slightly yellowed lens due to age....I'll do the pair for $4.17 apiece), and also ordered a new front air deflector (the black skirt that goes under the front air dam on the SSE/SLE/SSEi....cuz it'* all busted up).
My problem now is how to fix the crack. I need something flexible, since the bumper cover is plastic. I'm ordering the paint from the dealer on my way home tonight. They have a 5oz spray can. I'll try to blend, or just do the whole top and back of the cover, and not wrap around the sides. It'* starting to fade, anyway. I'll post some pics later.
So what'* a good filler/bonding material to fix/fill the crack in the bumper cover before painting?

Not flexible enough, is it? I don't want this to crack out again. And I hate working with Bondo. I only need about an ounce to fix this thing. Is there some kind of durable, flexible, 2-part epoxy that will work?
Jeffrey10x2, you work in a body shop (for those that don't know, he'* the ASE certified mechanic in body shop.....the under-hood guy). You know of anything?

Willwren, there is a specific flexible glue for this very thing I will look it up today when I get a moment. I painted cars for a while but it has been many years since I have had my hand in it so I just can't remember off the top of my head right now.
Also, try www.autobodystore.com you may be able to reference off of that site a product # for your local body shop supplier.

Bill, I'll ask my connections what would work best. But when I had cracks in the rear bumper cover he used a fiberglass mix...I'll get back to you on exact product.

Thanks for the help guys. I'm checking this out. I already ordered the paint. Might fix a little roadrash on my lower side panels while I'm at it. The whole top of the front and rear bumper covers is starting to fade also......
Silicone? Paint don't stick too well to that stuff. That'* like trying to paint teflon.
