Default Blowing blue smoke when i start up.

Heyyyyyyyyy :?:

Listen,I got my oil changed 2 weeks ago and the guy told me the pcv valve needed replacement so I did but the last 2 days when I start up my car at work a big cloud of blue smoke comes out of the exhaust, but only does it for a sec.I checked the oil and I was down 3/4 of a litre and the car hardly burnt any oil before .Could anyone help me out.

Did they screw up the PCV? If it doesn't relieve pressure, it can blow oil around the pistons into the combustion chamber.

Mine does the same exact thing. How often does yours do it?? Mine does it once every 15 to 20 startups, very seldom, but it does do it.

However mine never seems to use any oil, its always full, does smoke for like 1 half of a second and doesn't return for about 15 start ups.

Does it do this after the car has sat for a while, say overnight? If so, it could be your valve seals. They harden over time and leak oil into the combustion chamber. Not all cars will do this, just some.
