Default Beating an Eclipse

Around here, eclipses are very popular, actually way to popular, because everyone seems to have one. I raced a non turbo 2.0 liter eclipse one summer night on our version of a track. This guy was actually scared to race me because he thought I would beat him, but he mustered up enough courage to race me. We lined up, the hands dropped and we were off. I jumped in front of him fairly quick, but he stayed on my back bumper for about 150 feet then I nailed it and was gone. I had lost, barely, to a 305 camaro. Amazingly, even though the camaro beat me, I stayed right on his bumper the whole race, and I never fell back. So to make up for a loss to a great american car, I pretty much killed an eclipse, which pretty much made my night.

Eclipses I love how people who drive those think they're the sh**. Nice job staying on top of the Camaro.

Well man I live in Maine which only has a population of about 2 million people. I live in a town of only a couple thousand people and the cops here are brutal. I don't know how i get away with racing, but I do.

The camaro had a rebuilt 305, so that is why he beat me, but I was surprised he didn't me by much, because he didn't. I stayed right up on his *** the whole time. By the guy driving the camaro was one of my friends and he was totally repectable of me and my car, and it'* all for fun and not for slips or money where I live. I felt good betaing that eclipse to because I don't like them at all and this one guy with a purple eclipse, rims, and exhaust thinks he is the **** and he always makes fun of my car and he was saying how his non turbo beat an ssei and he says bonnevilles suck and I was like yeah whatever man, I'll get an ssei and I'll be sure to whoop your *** without even trying.

A stock GTP runs 15'*. To tell you the truth, depending on the year, those 305 Camaros were pretty doggy. I would think closer to 16'*.

No-offence or anything here but your lucky that it wasn't a eclipse gsx. You can make a 1st gen one run mid14'* all day long with about $600 of bolt ons. Add an up-graded turbo and say by-by... like 12 second runs....

Yeah I was lucky it wasn't a turbo. But say if it was, and I had an ssei, would I stand a chance or would I have my *** handed to me?

Like a stock vs. stock comparison?? Or like a stock SSEi vs a modded GSX or what?
