Default The Beast

Is up and running again.

I had let a buddy use my Gen V to N* throttle body adapter and the wiring adapter as well. I hard wired in a N* TPS plug since my wiring harness is pretty custom already and installed the TB adapter he brought over.

Next up was the dead Optima Red Top. It'* about 4 years old and they supposedly have a good record. Although parts counter guys mentioned they do see them come back with one bad cell. Yipppeee...I'm the lucky guy. A $20 junkyard battery and it'* running again.

Took it out for a spin to show off to a buddy. Sure enough the header wrap over the header flex pipe caused it to rot. Blew the flex in half on the first WOT of the day.

Luckily I knew of the SLP flex being a tick monster, had wrapped it to quell the ticking (worked great) and realized the wrap would help it rot out. There'* two flex pieces on my shelf. Just a matter of getting it swapped out.
