Default BAD NEWS

im sorry to say that i am gettin rid of my very loved 90 bonneville. after two years of blood sweat and tears i put into her the trans finally went. im trading her in for a 92 mercury cougar. the worst part about it is that the dealer is only giving me $200 for it. i got the car for free.. of course it was ready for the junkyard but after about a year and a half and $3000 later i had her running and looking beautiful. it was my first car and its hard to get rid of her. im also sad to say that i wont be able to come to this site with questions about my cougar. its a shame because the people on her are amazing and i thannk all of you for your help with my car. thanks again

Alex

Hey, while we are anything BUT a Mercury Cougar site, there are a goodly number of members here that own Ford products and have some knowledge. So, you are still allowed on here...lol.

No, seriously, you can always hang out here. We likely won't run you off....

No need to leave. Just because the bonneville is leaving the stable. We have several members who no longer own but still stick around. And as for the cougar post problems up in the lounge. we have several ford lovers including myself who are knowledgable in fixing fords. Ask mylittleblackbird he sleeps with 3.8 head gaskets under his pillow

Stick around, I'm a Cougar Lover! Until they became FWD

Post pictures and ***** it up in the lounge
If you post pictures with a Bonneville in the background i'm sure you could get away with posting in the Your Ride Section

You have to stay on the forum. Even though I can't imagine what you're going through because I won't not own a Bonneville , I can offer condolences for the loss, congratulations for the arbitrary profit, and this plea for you to stay.

Heck, I don't own a Bonne anymore, and they still like me
Sorry about having to get rid of your Bonne, but I have always liked Cougars too.

You can't prove that!

The only difference is you have to post your problems in the lounge. We have plenty of Ford folks that take a beating from their cars and have tons of knowledge to help you out.

Heck..I owned a couple o'Fords back a bit. They treated me well most of the time..it'* when they treat you bad that you need a couple gallons of gas and matches...lol
