My bad....this is what happens when I try to do work on top of fun while having ADHD....hey look a squirrel!

I will now slip quietly into my swamp I call work and will return back here when the swamp has been drained.

Thanks for all the support. Ya'll are right, I am lucky and I really can't expect any better aside from not getting in a wreck at all. No idea when I will be recovered, but I should be able to start some strength training in February.

I'm a Pontiac fan, but for equal money and practicality sake, consider how may 86 6000'* you see on the road vs. 94 Taurus.
I see what you mean about seeing more 94 Tauruses as opposed to 86 6000'*. But I just have some reservations. I know the Taurus shares its powertrain with the Windstar (I know, Windstars didn't start until 95) and I've seen bad things there. My old 96 Windstar was on its 3rd tranny when I dumped it for the Bonneville, and my parents 00 Windstar tranny had to be rebuilt twice. Maybe it was bad luck, but when I researched the 94 Taurus online, places like carsurvey show a fair number of negative reviews with tranny issues being pretty common. I like working on cars, but a tranny is something I just can't touch, plus its a pretty expensive thing to repair. The guy says he has 40k on the new tranny, but I dunno what to think.

This is tempting me. It looks pretty nice from the pics and sounds like a good find. Its more than I intended to spend, but that may likely save me some headaches/repair costs as opposed to sub $500 cars which are a real gamble. I hope I can snag a job soon as I think this might be a good find.

No I haven't been cited. A state trooper took some blood from me before I went to surgery, I assume to check for drugs and alcohol. He asked what I could remember and I haven't seen or heard from another officer since then.

Here is a pic of the hardware I am working with now. The doctor was on vacation when this was taken, so only his PA was around. You can see a triangle shaped piece of bone to the right of the elbow. She didn't know if it was supposed to be there. She also said that these x-rays were taken from a different angle than those taken after surgery, which made me wonder- Why didn't you just take the same picture for comparison'* sake? They took 2 x-rays that look almost identical, one could have been done differently I would think. Oh well, what do I know.
