Default Bad day for captainmiller

Fun evening, went out with some friends. Leaving a parking lot, slight curve, going about 60kmph. Brake on the curve. Bam, rear tire blows. Captainmiller does a 360. Captainmillers head hits the ceiling. The Bonneville is backwards. Captainmiller is in the ditch really dizzy.

My rear tire blew, the rim scraped the ground, and the car did a 360 into the ditch. My best friends Dad is a mechanic, he came over with his truck and was able to pull me out. We put the donut on and when home.

My front left blinker is smashed, foglamps are facing the ground and that trim under the front bumper is bent pretty bad. Huge chunks of mud everywhere. Everything else is ok, I think. I stopped 2 feet from a tree. I guess the Bonneville will live on.

Moral: Don't drive on shitty tires. I will take pics tomorrow, I'm still pissed out of my mind and my heart is racing.

You're a lucky SOB. Good save, even if it was just luck. No body damage to panels at all?

You know parts are out there if you need... just holler. I know of a white 90 in the area that a member doesn't watch too closely.

j/k Randy... actually I think we spotted on at the semi local junkyard

I am so happy you were not hurt, but it is awful about the car. Keep us informed.

sorry to hear about your luck! Hopefully the parts you need for repair aren't too expensive and readily available!
