Default ATTN : 2003 Owners.....please look here

I am posting here to see how many 2003 Owners would be interested in having the ability to tune your car.

with the HP tuners software if we buy the credits, the 03 year can be unlocked....

who would be interested???

the More people interested the less the price becomes

Im thinking of us Local guys

Me
Pete
MarkWB
Stan (SSE Motorhead)

any idea on price?

well its $200 to unlock the entire year from HP tuners.....now depending on the amount of ppl.....you can divide that by $200

now the only catch is that the Tuner must stay in Enfield CT....so that means the car would have to be down for a few days (at least for you Ryan) us locals can do it with the car

ok was hoping for sooner than that....LOL

and it would be modled off a Intense BIN, but with the ability to still change paramaters if needed

so if we go through with this, the tuner will be available any time, even if it takes me two years to build up the '03?

EDIT

could we expect any gains in stock form?

basically yes....as Long as Bill has the HP tuners, the car is unlocked, and the ability to be changed

and Right now Ryan im seeing KR with the Stock 3.8" pulley, FWI, 180* thermo and Autolite 104 Gapped at .55

I have Talked to Todd, and the Stock PCM has ALOT of TM, that can be represented in the form of KR, I Know that im seeing TM KR...with the TM reduction that the PCM has the KR should be decreased if not eliminated completely....which will make the car run better instead of pulling Timing

is there a scanner available for the newer cars that is affordable? or are you just "feeling" the KR?

Don't get me wrong, both Stephanie and I would absolutly LOVE to come out again sooner, but with the baby on the way, and money is going to be very tight over the winter ( Propane = $500 / month for at least three months ), we will have to wait untill next year to get out there again
