If you take the cover completely off, you're going to have more of a temperature drop than anything. But some don't like the way it looks. Personally I think it looks pretty cool with no cover on it, but thats just my opinion. We don't have one on the SSEi or GTP (they are hanging up on the wall in our garage), but we can't even put one on the GTP (unless of course its modified). On the SSEi we took it off because of the heat.

I ran over mine by mistake and then I through it away. I like the way it looks with the cover off on the M62. The M90 looks better with it on to me.
