Default Anyone wrecked an SSEi near Chicago, IL?

Bloke on the Cressida forums had his car written off (not his fault, he'* okay, happily). A damn shame too, his car was a MINT, rare '85 5-speed model with limited slip rear end and variable dampers (same as SSEi performance ride).

but once he posted pics, I noticed:

:( Looks like the whole rear section of the roof is caved in.

Bad day in Cressida land. Seeing that SSEi there doesn't help, either.

Something really big drove up the back of that Bonneville.

From this angle I think 1993sle is right. Maybe a big ole redwood from Oregon belly flopped on it. Anyone need parts?

How can you possibly think the trunk got through that untouched?

My guess is that a tree fell on it while it was parked. We're just getting into the season for nasty storms, and we've had one or two bad ones already this year.

I liked that champagne-beige color, too; dunno what its official name is. I saw one just like that many years ago with I thought was one of the best vanity plates I've ever seen on a Bonne: MY WINGS
