anyone see this on tv over the weekend?
i don't know if anyone else was watching the Barrett Jackson auction but i seen this and thought some of you would like to see it also. look at how much it went for.

Ya seen it the crowd went crazy for it,they said there are only 2 and the year before went for over 3 mill and the one on Barret Jackson the other night went for 2,900,000

Can you imagine trying to adjust 4 carbs at once that are linked together?! So much for a PCM telling you which bank is lean/rich

I saw that when it went on the Block live! that was so awesome... i was like i wonder if this will give the Bonneville Name more Rep and make 'em worth more...which would have + and - effects...

I didn't see that one, but I was watching last year when they sold the gold one. I believe it went for 3 million too, but it might've been almost 4. It would've been cool to own. I remember them saying when the Vette came out in '53, Earl liked it so much he wanted to make an oldsmobile version. I know at least the gold one had the olds nameplate. Why doesn't buick make a luxury Vette now-a-days?! It'd be like an XLR except not overrated.
