Default Anyone know?

A friend at work the other day told me he had read in the local paper that next year the North Star powered caddys are getting the newer 5.7 V8 that corvetts have in them and that the Grand Prix GTP Was not going to be a super charged 3800 but, getting the North Star V8????? I also heard that 2004 was the last year the Bonneville SSEI was going to be super charged. Does this mean a North Star in a Bonneville? I have no facts. Justa rumor.

Kind of late on the facts eh? The bonnevilles are no longer SSEi rather callled GXP and they are northstar powered.

Most would probably agree with me that I would still rather take an SSEi over a GXP when it comes to manageable power.

I've seen GXP'* run the 1/4....no contest at this point in time on which i would choose. The SSEi is by far its superior in power. Torque makes horsepower, and low down the northstar doesnt have it. It will scream up top, but for 1/4 racing the SSEi is it, hands down.
