If you do, you know who Chip Foose is.

I just learned a neat piece of trivia that I didn't know before. Chip Foose did the paint on a car very familiar to us.

Chip is a great designer
Interesting trivia about the spirit of Boneville paint, too cool.

I love that show. I wish someone would "steal" my car and put it on there.

What a talented and resourceful guy he is. I saw the episode on Rides when he made that full sized version of the Matchbox car. Darn near everything was custom fabricated from steel and epoxies (I believe that what the outer skin was made of)

I really like that show. I love how they set the owners up and then bring in the team to make the cars awesome. It is cool to see what can be done by so many in so short of a time frame.

The timing is very off. It has to be, there is NO way you could prep and paint a car in under 7 days.. especially some of the stuff they ahve to do. Add in all the work they do on the cars, and there is no way they could get it done in 7 days.

I saw on Extreme Home Makeover that they tore down a house and built a 4000 sq ft home in 7 days. Where there is a will there is a way.

I have no clue how they do it, because of the time it takes to do good body work.. Between sanding down, fixing anything wrong with the body, priming, sanding again, priming, painting, polishing, and not to mention drying time. Anyone know how long it takes to dry paint? With a drier I presume. I have no clue, but I thought it at least took overnight.

Drying paint isn't he problem. It'* the curing time it needs.

It'* very possible, they have a lot of people on their crew, and they out source some stuff too.
