Default Anyone ever done a rear quarterpanel?

My wife informed me that a sizeable chunk fell off the left rear of her car (in sig) and I wondered whats involved?

Yes Rust is really bad on the drivers side rear. Pass side is fin oddly. I'm not sure how to fix this. I've replaced front 1/4'* before, patched holes, done some bondo, & even painted before but this looks like a new panel(*) would be the best solution. I saw how bad it was when I took the rear tire off, so much came off I was in a rust blizzard. I'll try to get a pic or two of how bad it is later.

I might have a friend willing to do it if you can get a patch that will conver it. You might need someone to do the finish work (bondo and paint) but he could weld in the new panel. Any chance you can get a picture of the area for me to show him by tomorrow when i go pick up my door? He is in rochester, so the car would need to come out here to get it done. If you have a picture, I can see if I can get an estimate. He is working on a 78 280ZX right now that he is doing all the body work on. He'* not a profrssionally trained welder, but he is pretty good, and just did some quarter panels for another friend.
