Default Another reason ricers are retarded!

A kid in my school has a 3000GT-SL. He'* buying a 700 dollar exhaust system . I looked up on how much horse/torque it'* going to give him (im gonna probably be racing him in the spring) and its only gonna add 15 horse at WOT and will probably loose his torque!

I can spend the same money and get a hell of a lot more power out of my car than that. I'm so glad I got a bonneville!

thats one of the reasons im glad i have a bonneville. Even though we only have a few suppliers, we know that they are quality and are not here to rip us off. Ricers dont know what they are getting off of the internet, so many people are cashing into this and just getting away with ricers money (case in point above). The way this place is growing we might have some more mods

The fact alone that he is driving a 3000 should give you confidence enough that he will have nothing on you as they are a piece of junk. Just go show him in the spring what a waste of money that exhaust system will have been

Well if it was a 3000GT VR4 or Pure TT I would have no chance. But im possitive i'll beat him, the kid won't know how to launch right.

You can even see his Ground FX lights if you look at the car from the side. Totally ugly, I dont know why he did it. It looked much better without them. The funny thing is it'* green and has tan leather interrior too.

I'll be doing a full tune up in the spring with new cables and plugs, O2 sensor, 180 therm and another trainy cooler. I'll probably get an intake then too. So i'll be rocking.

He'* probably opening up his exhaust too much and gonna cause backpressure, hence a loss of torque. Common mistake.
