Another one....
Pics to come after this snow stops.... besides it was dark when we drove it in the back yard of my parents... (I've already got my brothers garage occupied).
Yes, another in in the oven..... this one will not be getting the royal treatment, but rather the royal flush.
Friend approached me last week to see if I was interested in his bruised and battered 1997 GP GT. It'* absolutely loaded, but has been parked between trees...... they were closer together than the width of the car.
Well today he called and asked if I could help get MY car out of the ditch.
Apparently the slush was too much for the bald tires. Barely missed the guard rail, and came to a stop with what was left of the front bumper hanging out over the water.
In his trip from the road to the lake shore he took out a no passing sign so instead of passing he overtook it.
He reported it and called me. Took 6 guys pushing the car to get it close enough to the road to hook up the tow rope that was attached to the Suburban. That thing just about slid in the guard rail because of the horsesh!t road conditions.
Sooo, now I have a 1997 GP GT I'm going to part out what'* left of it (one passenger door, interior, rims, drivetrain and coolers).
Sadly, he took out the perfect white hood which I had a buyer lined up for. :(
