and i wake up today to wash my car early at 8:00am before i go to work, and while washing it i found this, it wasnt on the front bumper the day i boosted the car for sure (Friday morning). so it must have happened when i was in the mall few days ago or infront of my house

Ya, if it had been a tad lower and the bumper cover $1000 OEM (no aftermarket) and paint/installation. The next piece up sure to be less but still steep. The drivers rocker panel for mine was $376?. Your going to have to weigh the parts price vs the deductible and higher insurance. It would fall under comprehensive. So should be covered, but against your policy. I wonder if it was all done at the same time. like someone backed up at an angle then steered hard to the right leaving. A typical parking lot maneuver.

i wasnt in the car so i really doubt my insurance would go up, if this falls under vandalism then it shouldnt but who knows

i wasnt done same day for sure, the foglight scratch was done a while ago, but i didnt think it was worth reporting. i washed my car several times after it happened. the one ontop of the plate cover is new, very new. im expecting the broken piece to fall out any moment, with labour being so high in fort mc $190.00+ at GM here, im expecting the price to be well over $1500.00, but this makes me wonder if its worth fixing now in the middle of winter or should i wait till spring, you think insurance would wait on me few months from now? i was hoping to get my front bumper, hood, and both fenders painted this summer.. I guess one of them will have to be done

That'* not vandalism, it'* hit and and covered under comprehensive, thus chargeable to insurance. They have strict rules to what can be applied to vandalism which isn't. Vandalism is willful damage with an intent. And this is clearly to me not the case. It'* an accident where someone didn't see the damage (your didn't) or didn't care and drove off.
