Cant you just go out today and try it? Did you lease or finance that car or something, is that why you are worried? If you leased it, who cares.

Anyway, you may not want to floor the gas, like maybe half way then floor, cause if you have all that low-end torque like Dan and everyone here says even the NA engines have it. I know if i floor the gas in mine I consider myself lucky if i even get a few chirps.

If I put the hammer down on mine, my tires will light the road up even with T/C engaged. Ive been down to the 131 Dragway and found that like said before, I keep my rpms between 1300 and 1500 for the hole shot. I dont have much in the way of ricers botherin me in GR, so i dont have those issues.

MadSam I couldn't agree more loved your post, and no I am not going to beat on my babie yet... And yes I do worry about hurting my SLE! On a upside I got sweet looking Pontiac mud flaps with Pontiac in chrome font! Custom88 your right 'dude is one of those people I just got it a month ago, and yes I am a lil worried (if) I ever were to take my 33,000 "toy" on a drag strip! Maybe someday...
