No you're not. Mine used to look that way when I bought it.

i just went out and looked for it and i cant find it but how much would the metal fitting be and can i change is on my own?

I honestly don't remeber, as it was an emergency repair (I barely got to work) and the cost was not my priority. If it'* not broken, it shouldn't be that hard to deal with. It just screwed in.

It was a smaller hose (inch or so) the fed into the left of the upper part of the engine. Kida hard to see the fitting from the top, it was behind the belt and pulleys.

I just looked at 92 LeSabre at Chiltons Online. Yours may not even have this fitting, jusdgung by what I can find. I can't even remember what year mine was right now...

ok yeah cuz i looked and all i can see is a hose going conmecting a lower part to a high park of the motor and their a metal fitting on that but it could be not what ur talking about.
