Ever since I got here, I've been reading all these threads about people having problems with their cars. I've hardly had a problem with mine, and the previous owner hardly had a problem with it. Did I just luck out and get a really good car, or do they mean what they say about "they don't make them like they used to?

there must be something to the saying of cars built on payday or raise day are better built cars. just the luck of the draw I guess

i havent have a major problem in the 88K i have had my 93 either.....(knocks on wood)

You don't have the mod bug, yet. Many issues will arrise when you're pushing a car to it'* limit more often than not. Plus your car still has fairly low milage, if I'm correct.

Never buy a car that was built on a Monday or a Friday. Auto workers are still hungover/drunk from the weekend, and on Friday, everyone is anxious and in a hurry for the weekend to get drunk.

You just jinxed yourself. Just count yourself lucky that you haven't had any repairs yet. My 91 SSE didn't give me hardly any problems except for the serpentine belt taking out my water pump.
