www.domesticperformance.com

Several of us run them. I'm the only one that had problems, and the warranty issues were resolved quickly and painlessly.

160 amps or 200 amps. Your choice to replace the stock 105 you have.

I second that. I had gone thru about 3 alts in 2 years. Got as DP 200 amp one - not a problem since (I think about 2+ years now).

that and do your new alternator a favor, and pick up a 1 Farad cap.. they are under $100, and will take a lot of strain off your alternator, and your neon will be bright as can be, all the time

Only if you have the heated windshield option. And if you do, we're two.

Go with DP on the alternator, but make sure your PRIMARY battery is less than a year old. You don't want to over-stress even a GREAT alternator.

These alternators have an improved bearing design to prevent (or at least delay) the typical rear bearing failures, the VR is upgraded, and a smaller pulley installed. You can also get them in a variety of colors.

MSD is also about to release a 'universal' performance alt. Slick design. Very innovative.

Does my 90 have a 105 amp alt too? And will I kill it with a stereo system?
