I assume this is your personal experience? Many last much longer, some last less. It'* tough to call a coolant elbow for timing. Pretty durable overall though.

PearlJ.. no need to tell you to double check the EGR to intake manifold pipe, I'm sure you already know about their ability to crack and cause vacuum leaks.

Well, did my LIM gaskets today. And probably just in time!

Here they are (110k miles)

I also replace the coolant temp sensor, Annnnnnnnnnnnnnd, since i was already under the hood, and I have seen these fail after 100k, I treated the Bonnie to This:

According to the mechanics I see they tend to go between 60-80k. I am on the third elbow on the 96.

Yeah, I'm glad i didn't wait any longer to do them. I also replaced my valve cover seals (and the coolant elbow)
At this point, I think I've replaced every common problem part on the car. I think I can sit back and just enjoy driving it for a while, or at least till I get some mod money.
