Default Alignment - Belle Tire SUXX!!

so i take my buick in for an alignment last week. i noticed it was off, so i take it back monday. the guy tells me theres no way to take care of it today, were full. well, ok.

so i go back today. the mgr comes to me after the mech inspects the alighment. he says the mech said i need to replace 3 tires to fix the problem, bc my abnormal tread wear is causing the car to pull to the right . so i ask to see the specs. he shows me the #'*. the right rear is off by -38 deg. , so i say, well that 38 deg isnt the cause for my car pulling to the right? he says that the rear will not make the car pull. and also that theres no room for adjustment in the back. i call the bs flag and inform him that the rear tie rods are less than 5k miles old and surely DO have adjustment.

he goes to ask the mechanic about the adjustment. the mechanic says that the nut was "frozen" and thats why theres no room for adjustment.he also said that the inner and outer tierods need to be replaced.

i told the mgr that that was ridiculous, all he has to do is heat it up. the mgr says that thats not part of the alignment and would have to charge me for breaking it loose. he said that if i can get it loose, then bring it back, and they'll take care of it. EFFF that. thats the last straw. im never going to belle tire again.

I HATE Belle tire. they are crooks.

i just dont understand, if i pay for a 4 wheel allignment, then i should get a 4 wheel alignment. not a 3 wheel! WTF? how are they in business with practices like that?

Dude, Belle Tire is a JOKE. I never EVER deal with them.

Take it to a small, privately owned shop. They'll go the extra steps to take care of you.

so, last week i took the buick back to have them fix the alignment. they said it was good. i leave, and it pulled to the left, worse than it did the FIRST time i took it there.

i immediately turn around and tell them to re-check it. the mechanic tells me it is 100% in specs. the mgr guy walked me to the machine so i could see the data myself.

the first thing i notice is that the top of the screen says "1990 buick century". so im like, dude, thats a 92 park avenue.

OMFG, talk about retards! i just laugh every time i see their "ase certified technicians" bs comercials.

i wouldnt think the specs for the two body styles would be that different, but they definitely were.

Amazing. I'm only 21. Does anyone know if this is a fad, or has auto service in chain stores always sucked?

That story Samual is repeated over and over again in shop after shop. Thats why I NEVER bring my cars to a shop anymore to let them Morons touch it. I once got my 80 Skylark back from speedy muffler and the steering wheel was in the 9 o'clock position.
I now do my own alignments, tire changes and balancing. I bought the basic hand tools and you would be surprised how good I could bring the camber and toe in.
My tires dry rot before they wear out.
