they must have been in an accident and never replaced the spoiler or it was ordered that way.....

I'll try and get pics of what'* left of the car...I was shocked as hell to. I didn't even know this one was at my work until I just randomly saw SSEi on a door when driving down one of the rows. And then I seen it witout a spoiler and I was like WTF?

That one is even more rare, IMO because I have never seen one without a spoiler AND have the console shifter. All the ones that I have seen without a spoiler have the column shifter.
