Default acceleration

i hope someone can help me out on this or give me some advice. sometimes when i start accelerating like after a stoplight or something...ill hear a little clunking noise just when i first start out.. does anyone have any idea what that could be? my friend thinks it could be something with the trans or the axle.

Mine does the same thing. I am thinking either the CV joint or a sticky break caliper (rt side for me).

i've had similar also, it turned out to be a stripped caliper bolt (therefore Loose) left side. can you tell if it is coming from a side or directly underneath?

HEY MIne too, groovy (thats not a word i use often...) Mine kinda sounds like from underneith on the left directly in front of the driver. I always assumed it was nothing major because it was rare. But that might also explain the bubble feel i have in my brakes every once and a while when starting out....

Mines makes a slight sound but i have to be at a complete stop. My brakes are perfect now, so i don't think i have it. Pull off the wheel if you think the brakes are bad, but I think you'll be fine.

Engine mount, center exhaust hanger or some other exhaust part hitting something. Also, check all the heat shields, especially above the muffler. The rivets rot out and the shields hit the exhaust system. Happened to me.

I had a "clunk" on hard acceleration and on braking. It turned out to be a golfball in the trunk.
