Default ??? about traction control, differential, and tire spin

I used the traction control button for the first time today, wow I think I am going to wear out my tires before they a due. But, It only spun one tire this time?

Does anybody know if these cars (2001 SSEi) have positive traction differential, or can this be upgraded on our car? Is there anything to be concerned about with a daily driver and diff upgrades? Please let me know your thoughts.

Thanks in advance!!

the car has TQ management......

if the car sees that the wheels are spinning thru the WSS the PCM will pull timing to reduce the engines power to get the car back under controll

basically the car will hold you back to save the trans

Interesting though. Because if it was one tire spinning the car was saving the trans only to kill the diff....
