Yeah.. Any late model supra, doesn't matter what engine, should be able to take your Bonne with ease...

You said he took the turbo'* off? What did he do for an intake in the meantime? You can't just pull the turbo'* off, you gotta put something there... Then you compression ration could be bad, and if your exaust is tuned for a turbo and you don't have it you will have no backpressure.

He had some sort of plate bolted over it. Like a plug. I didnt seem to run bad..but I dunno
