Default 97 SSE question,

I was on E-bay today and I seen a 97 SSE with pretty much fully loaded,

my question, Didn't most SSE and i'* come with the special floor mats and 45th emblems on the rear side pillars?

I know all bonnevilles weren't like this, I just though the SSE'* and I'* automatically had them, (i friend of mine had a 97 SSE with these options that'* why I ask)

40th Anniversary Edition: In 1997 Pontiac made six models: the SE, the 40th Anniversary SE, the SSE, the 40th Anniversary SSE, the SSEi, and the 40th Anniversary SSEi. The 40th Anniversary SSEi is the rarest model with a total production of 637 units. The 40th anniversary models all had a VIN with Y40

I think the Y40 was an RPO code not in the vin.

Not ALL '97 SSEs and SSEIs were 40th Anniversary Editions...(see info/pics below)

Do believe you are correct. That passage was taken directly from techinfo, so maybe a rewording/clarification is in order from the higher ups.
