You asked so here is what I would do, take the money that you would put down on the 2001 and spend it on the 97 I see no advantage to buying the 01 unless you like the newer style more or are collecting them as I can see you already have more than one. Ask the dealer if he will l do a carfax report for you? some do some dont but it dont hurt to ask. or if you know some one that will do it for you,that would be good too . heck some one on here mite be able to hook you up ! :o
