Looks like a "gasket" tab to me. Not a bad idea either, since I don't think I've ever got mine back to the original shape...

As soon as he has 'em back online (and I remember my ebay ID), I'm grabbin' a set...

i agree... i tried myself and cracked the drivers side signal within five seconds of removal. i could get you a set with my account and you paypal me.
