Default 95 versus 97 questions

Ok...most everyone knows I picked up a 97 SSEi the other day and I still have my 95 SSEi. I've got a few questions on the differences. Specially since the 97 has no owners manual.

Manuals: Randy has the FSM and says it'* pretty bad...anyone have one other than Helm that is really good?

HUD: Is the display on the HUD smaller in 97? Mine looks smaller...but maybe just needs to be adjusted.

Locks: What'* up with this whole beep and drivers unlocks to keep me from locking my keys in. Anyone have the programming steps to change it over to a normal lock situation. Or am I supposed to hold the handle?

Thanks all...Step mom is processing the temp plates today, then little sister is going to have the emissions tested so I can get my real plates. Ahhhhhh the beauty of being hooked up.

Step mom works at DMV so I never stand in a line!

only thing different is the switch to adjust the HUD to your height. in 92-96, it was just as quick to lift up and down the tab to adjust it. WIth the 97-present it takes a lil longer and the switch is different. Other than that, they are the same.

Are you speaking of the beep when you lock the doors? They have that I guess to let you know its locked for sure when you arent close to the vehicle. THe horn will just chirp unlike the earlier keyless entry models. I dont have my Owners Manual with me but they have the instructions on how to program the lock and unlock features you desire.
