94 SSE vs. 81 Vette...hehehe
Well I raced my mom'* 81 Vette and killed it!!! It was slow off the line and it had no chance!
Actually I didn't race it (yet)
But I just wanted to get people'* opinions. The way I look at it, after all my mods are done, for the summer at least, I'll have the ADTR intake, Taylor wires/performance plugs, Hi-flow CAT, Magnaflow muffler. How much hp would people think I'll gain with all that? I was thinking between 15-20.
Anyway, the Vette has 190hp. If I get close to that or even above that when I'm done modding my car, what kind of race would that be. The reason I ask is because I've driven the Vette and it is slow off the line and you have to really lay on the gas. With those mods and a quick takeoff what do people predict would happen. Who knows, I'll probably get killed BAD That is if either my mom or dad agrees to race it. Give me some NOS and a chip and maybe someday I'll race their 2003 Vette

umm... yea... a vette... yea... i'm thinking that you will get owned.
HEHEHEHEHE. Probably not a fair matchup I guess. I'd have to drive it again to see how well it accelerates. Just a thought

That'* why I asked. I know it has crazy torque, it'* a 350. But it really seems slow when I drive it, at least slow for a Vette. I'm surprised it has only 190hp. I'll see if either my mom or dad would want to race. If I did get beat I don't think it would be by that much, but at least I wouldn't be embarrassed since it is a Vette and it'* my parents'. Keep the opinions coming.

Ya my brother stomped a Vette it was like a 79' I think and stomped it. We know the guy who drives it. When it was over my brother asked him if he had it floored and said he had it all the way down. My brother was driving a 90' Ford Tarus SHO.

The 75 had only 165.
