'92-'96 back end vs. '96-'99 redesign
I have heard many people say the saggy back end was fixed in 1996 but i always thought the rear of the 1996-99 looked a lot saggier and fuzzier:

Yes a bad pic, but still you can see it looks like they took the crisper looking '92 back end and melted the tailights

I know it'* not really obvious, but just about anyone can tell you that I'm partial to the 92-95 style.
J/K Actually I like the 96-99 due to it'* cleaner lines in the bumper, the notched spoiler, and the smoother flowing tails. To top that off, the body lines in the trunk and spoiler really set it apart -IMHO it really has a bit of class that the 92-95'* lacked.

It'* obivious but I prefer the 96-99 and as OldBlueEye said, it adds class to the already classy Bonneville. Plus it'* much cleaner and modern and still looks fresh compared to today'* design
I wish there was a difference between the 96-99 SSE/i and the SE tail lights like their predocessors. I went from a 95 SLE which had the really simple no lined tails to a 96 SSEi which has all the curves and lines.. so i'd say i'm partial to the newer ones. However, the older SSE tails do look pretty damn good. Regardless, the entire back end looks better on the 96-99 IMO because its smoother and more refined.
