Ya..the early series I in the 87-91 were designated LG3 and LN3, similar to L27, and L67'* of newer 3800'*.
But Series I is easier to remember. In fact I always refer to my mill as the old VIN C

OOHH! trivia..
When did GM first make the Series II 3800
has to be newer then 92 cuz my trofeo has it.
on another note, has anyone thought of putting a 4.3 (3/4 a 350 (5.7) with these fwd transaxled cars?
