LOL no not at all. I know most of these guys from when I had my GTP. Also, since I run a decent time in the 1/4 and I had an intercooler housing in my trunk...I'd say they were all pretty cool.

I suspect they do it that way because it is the least amount of work and cost. By removing the supercharger snout and rotors and then blocking off the housing with a plate, the SC then becomes nothing more than a large plenum.

I imagine you could change the intake and all but again, more work and cost.
