not all H body related but should still apply:

1993 Chevrolet Lumina z34, LQ1, 4T60-E
Finally died at 178,000 after first gear burned itself to bits within 60 miles
parted out, put in a MT and haven't looked back

1997 Bonneville SSE, L36, 4T60-E
dead at 117,000
Failed from being run with little to no fluid, hopefully to replace with good used trans,

1998 Buick Regal GS, L67, 4T65-E-HD (not mine)
Still going strong at 222,000 with a harsh shift kit and drove hard daily

My 98'* trans was getting REALLY sloppy at 95k. HUGE hesitation on shifts. Was fine when I got it at 86k. Went down hill extremely fast. No idea on current status of car.

’00 SSEI daily grocery gitter lost 4th gear at 132k miles
It was the dreaded non-hardened 4th clutch shaft – the splines stripped off.

I know you didn’t ask but FWIW, the 92SE had stripped planets at 123k with pretty much the same driving habits and same roads.

97 4T65E-HD 140K

Low Pressure situation, trans pretty much dead after that.

97 4T65E-HD 87ishK

Long shift, trans at max pressure to compensate for it.
