Fun Fact to go along with that sentence:
When the Pontiac Transport Van was first introduced, the voiceover on the commercial was performed by Patrick Stewart.

Someone here has one that runs a 15.9. They have 2.97 gearing.

Thats a 3400... 38'* were dropped from the minivan line for 96...

My cousins Montanna with the 3400 would get up pretty good for its size too... FE2 suspension with level ride.... And it cruises 80mph so easy

Her husband told me once that he wished the Montanna had the same 3800 II as their 95 bonnie.... lol
Hmm, I coulda sworn I saw a 3800 under that hood.

I don't think a Ser 2 ever made it under the hood of a van.

ME!! Not any more tho, at least for awile - TC slips But if I go that far it will be S2. What is even more impressive is that it has 260K+ on orignal engine (250K when 15.9 was ran)

Nope 3400. . . . . . I know of 2 guys that have SC on there Trans Sports. One is a '96 (3400) and is CSC'd and the other is a '99? (3400) AWD with a Intercooled M62 from an Aztek.
