Basically. The tray below them has a 1.5" X 3" hole in it to allow heat from the engine bay. If I could find the digital camera I would take a pic of it so you could see what I'm talking about. They MIGHT let a little heat out, but nothing compared to if you remove the tray. We didn't have a choice though...we had to remove it so the blower would clear the hood with the IC under it.

ok so all we need is to have is the scoops and an extra hood to practice on......

Why does the Grand Prix have the 3800 Series III and the Bonneville only gets the Series II?

It just seems weird to me. :?:

The Series III makes the same power as the Series II (except for the L67 version) except it has drive by wire and all that crap. Why GM decided not to use that engine in that car, I don't know, but either way the power is the same so it doesn't really matter. Thats just my opinion on it though.
