So, in a way it'* like back in 1992/93 where you could get a not-so-loaded SSE with the L67, and now you get the not-so-loaded SLE (no carbon Fibre, no quad tips?, no special rims, brakes, suspension, body cladding and bumpers, ...) with the N*.
History repeats itself.

It says on pontiacs website that a 3.8 is availible for the gxp as well...

ENGINE
Engine, 3.8L 3800 V6 SFI, (205 HP [152.9 kW] @ 5200 rpm, 230 lb.-ft. [310.9 N-m] @ 4000 rpm) (L36) $0.00

I'd think that'* a mistake, as the whole concept of the GXP is around the Northstar
