I know of a dealer with a 2004 SLE and a 2004 GXP -identical cars as far as miles, color, AND PRICE!!!! $22,997 -take your pick.
Lowest GXP (within 200 miles) I can find is a 2004 with 21k and the asking price is $20k. That'* on the internet -I've seen one advertised as low as $17,900 with 27k. Pearl white too. If I could've convinced myself to spend that much money it'd have been worth it, until 3 months down the road and all other GXP'* are priced around $16k-17k.

Cheap Is the word, the thing dont have a good resale value. A trip to the dealer left me loving the all black G6 retractable hardtop and I inquired about what they would give me back on month old GXP....20k trade allowance, after I paid close to 29k total.....I think the thought of how hard it was to get rid of them in first place is gonna sticks in their minds for some time.
The one things that is holding me back from the bonneville is rthe whole road/wind noise issue. I head they are not to great whgen compared to most cars including the 2004 gen grand prix. True?
I have two. One makes a bit of noise at 120. The other sounds pretty sweet at 156!
These cars were built for 'luxury with attitude'. You may sacrifice a little noise for an adrenaline rush, but it'* worth it.
One of the reasons the GXP isn't selling is because for the STICKER price, most people are looking at the Caddy'* instead.

but i wonder why the bonne is rated (consumer guide) and by most reviewers as having so damn much noise compared to cars like the '92-'99 bonneville and the NEW Grand Pix??? Seems as though the bonneville would be quieter than a grand prix. I have not driven a bonneville, but i have driven a new GP and it was very very quiet
