2002 Malibu vs. 1993 Pontiac Bonneville SE

Of course I own the 1993 Pontiac Bonne and my friend has a 2002 Malibu with the 3100 which if noone knows is a rather quick engine. Anyways we decided to take our cars down to the local "cruise" and race. I was rather excited being the first time ive raced since I have been really working on my car hard latly and worried about what it could do. Anyways we both got ready and pulled up to the line. The chrismas tree ran down its colors and we both mashed the gas. I didnt burn out because my traction control is stuck on :? anyways I was flying and I passed him in like 1 second(his tires were already sticky cuz he could roast them) anyways I go flying past and hit a 1/4 mile in the high 15 area. He was about 16.7 or something high. I was happy but not satsfied I need to get faster then I will be looking for more blood  .

I detail cars in the summer and drove my friend's 99 Buick Century to drop it off at his house. It also had the 3100. It is pretty quick like you said. I haven't had the opportunity to race one yet but I have no doubt they'd get a good look at my plate. Good kill

I have it run down right behind my foglights but the hose is fairly sqwished so not alot of air is coming in.. Ill have to do some presice hacking  unless anyone has a better idea? I have driven a malibu also, but I really didnt get the idea that they were very fast. Mostly what i noticed is the hesitation in acceleration and poor build quality.

Not to slam your kill or anything, just puttin' in my 2 coppah pennies!!!
