similar thing almost happened to me when I was car shoppin for the Regal....there was a 4 cyl 2000 Accord EX on the lot and I saw it and saw the single exhaust and the 4 lug wheels and I knew it was a 4 cyl, I went inside to ask about the cars that may have been available at other dealers associated with this one (which is actually how I found the Regal) he tryed to tell me it was a V6 and told me he was sure it was a V6 and I said "well I have been wrong before, so pull it around and ill look at it" he pulls it around and sends it through the car wash then pulls it up to the front door and I pop the hood....low and behold 2.3 liter 4 cyl....I was like, "yeah ive been wrong before but I wasnt wrong this time!"

SSEi is faster anyway I doubt it was a purposeful deception. Dealers see so many cars that he may have confused it with a gxp they did actually have on the lot. Hope you get the deal your looking for but I wouldn't hold my breath just because a salesman screwed up a trim level.

yeah I still ended up buying my Regal from the dude that screwed up and told me the Accord was a V6, I just told him that I was pretty sure exactly what kind of car I was looking at and not to worry about talking me into any others.....its actually less work for them to do it that way anyways.....just cause hes a car dealer doesnt meen he knows about cars, and I agree with Rogue SSEi IS faster, and you can actually make it go faster yet...heck with a pulley and intake that thing has more power than a GXP and it already has more torque...GXP=overrated but nice
