Yeah but it'* not feisable now. It'* just too damn much to switch over. And besides all us car guys will keep saying 0-60 and 1/4 mile anyways, those are the only important measurements.. right?

We should all be fluent in both systems. That way, when we converse with our brothers to the north (or if you are in , your brothers to the south), we can all speak the same language

I'll help get you all started: 1 inch = 2.54 cm. You all can figure it out from there.

I will be giving you a test tomorrow. You had better know how many Furlongs are in a Kilometer

I passed one up today on my way to a job interview. I don't understand why someone would want a small car like that anyway. I know ppl legs be cramped in the back seat. I LOVE BONNEVILLES!!!!!!!!

I had a VW Cabriolet. It was a fun car. I could sit in the back, but you are right...not much leg room.

the metric system is less precise in temperature. 0-100*c until boiling compared to 0-212*F. thats 112* more degrees until the same temperature. so you can get closer to the actual temp. if that makes any sense.

Nice one willsbonnie, i'm sorry to hear you like the vikings though, I've been a Bucs fan since way back in the 90'* and their losing ways. I used to live in central florida too, my first game was a Bucs and Vikes game, so maybe that'* why i don't like them too much.... Oh i'm also a decent packers fan too... But You'll never make us change you cannucks!

Oh...kay...it makes no difference in the level of precision. 100 degree C is the boiling point of water....0 degrees C is the freezing point.

I'm sorry but 212F down to 32F respectively is whack. The level of unit precision is the same....there are just more numbers to deal with.

Now...what were we talking about?

Don't try to make up for you're lacking... In numbers that is . The precision of Our system is MUCH higher then metric in that respect.

You get 100 units to measure between 180 for our way of doing it. And besides saying it'* oh, say 35 outside doesn't feel nearly as bad as saying it'* 95... (not saying they are the same measurement.
