You've claimed that a few times on this board. The upper WAS NOT redisigned in 99.

ok thands for the heads up, from what i have herd that it was "redesigned" meaning changed in a way from the earlier ones, i guess "redesigned" is the wrong term, sorry guys, how bout new and improved??

Aren't the 00+ 3800'* 200 hp, a 5 hp drop from the 95-99s due to mandatory california emissions compliance? The new 3800s are slower 0-60 than the 95-99s by quite a lot in certain applications.

the 2000+ are the same, the reason that the newer bonnes are slower are due to about 400 lbs of added weight, and the TM in the PCM in conjunction with the stabilitrak all make the car try and harness all that power, On a side note on a totally stock 04 comp G you can get over 300 HP just by getting a aftermarket PCM, it is REALLY restirctive on the newer cars

yeah, there have been zero (0) changes to the uim... only to the egr stovepipe. that'* not a part of the uim...
