Who all uses the Mobil 1 full synthetic oil?? Is this good or over priced good for nuthn??

It is an excellent oil and one of the first besides Amsoil. That being said, I don't think you can buy or use an inferior synthetic. Look for sales on Valvoline, Castrol, or others. The benefits outway the initial cost in my opinion. I've been running Napa 10w30 synthetic since I bought my car and it'* been good to 204,450 mi so far. Napa oil is made by Valvoline and is a quality oil. I run 10 to 15 thousand miles between changes with a filter change about 1/2 way through.

Been using it for several years. Seems to last a good long time. Even after it'* dark it'* still has great viscosity.

The 3800 engines are notoriously easy on oil. Put 5 quarts of whatever is on sale in, and a $5 filter. Take the extra cash saved and go buy yourself a 12 pack.

For what it'* worth I had an oil analysis done after running conventional (Philips Trop-Artic 10w-30) oil for over 9k miles, which is when the DIC told me to. The results were perfect, lower than average wear metals by a good margin.

i use it mobil1 full synthetic high mileage $28 bucks for a 5qt jug from walmart

I haven't used any yet but did see an test on Royal Purple. Wish I could afford to change over. I use Mobil Clean 5000 and change it around 2000 to 2500 miles. I used to use Havoline 10-W30.I have the tests but is an invalid file and won't load.

It'* more important to watch the color of the oil. Oils job is to of course lubricate. But it'* also there to remove particulates, such as soot. That'* why it turns black. It gets to a point where it can no longer suspend the soot and your engine starts to sludge up. Rapid oil changes are the only way to keep the insides clean.

I use regular oil in the Bonneville, and Mobil 1 synthetic in the T/A. Walmart has the best price for Mobile 1. I have purchased it for as low as $19.

Is that per quart? Holy Jesus! AMSOIL most expensive stuff is just a hair over $10 for a quart.

It'* rated for 25k or once a year. Whichever comes first.
