Default 2 Ton Jack.

Will a 2 ton small jack work for raising the car up enough to get the tire off the ground so i can paint the calipers?

I know the bonnes are close to 2 tons and i tried lifting it up but it took forever with the small handle and it creaked everytime i pumped it and it was scaring me that it wouldnt hold up.

You are only lifting 1/4 of the total weight of the car when removing a tire. A 2-Ton jack should be fine.

As long as your lifting in a safe area.

Yup should work no problem for that. Definately use jack stands if you want to have more than one corner up off the ground though. I use a 2 ton jack for work when I do rim repair on vehicles.. makes it easier since I can spin the wheel and have it higher up when I work on it while sitting on my shop stool.

At home I have a 3 ton jack though.. that thing is just too big to take on the road with me though lol.
